After a wonderful summer enjoying commuting through country lanes on the fabulous L3, I returned from work one evening, parked the bike up while I went in for dinner, upon returning I noticed this!!

The muck on the rear rim shows how much I’ve been enjoying the L3! Time to get a better chain lube that doesn’t fling so much š

I’m usually a Pirelli fan boy but the Dunlops have been working perfectly on this L3 and was on special offer at the time, besides there was nothing wrong with the front Dunlop so I wanted to keep the tyres as a matching pair.

Not to miss the opportunity of cleaning the mucky wheel up, also the sprocket and rear caliper…

And of course, dragging out my favourite new piece of garage equipment, the sealey laser alignment rig to ensure perfect front to rear alignment…

That’s better, fresh new rubber is always a great feeling…

Note the lovely new Pillion seat cover and removed rear pegs as well as the homologation M1 exhaust hanger.

And some replacement M1 750R graphics |(much better than the thinner American ones previously fitted)…

Not the easiest of decals to apply but it came out perfect. Thanks to The Image Works for these quality decals.

Looking like an M1, but in Suzuka livery!

I couldn’t wait to remove the EBC brake discs. I never got on with these, they made a horrible noise on braking and compared to my M1, were miles inferior. I spent a small fortune on some new oem rotors, they look and work so much better than the EBC ones.

New OEM mounting hardware also…

and the opportunity to clean up the front calipers and re-grease everything as well as fit the excellent EBC HH pads as fitted to my M1.

The bleeders also came in for some much needed attention…

The new original black discs looking so much better. The R tail decals have been removed as the ZXR750 on the tail was impressing through them.

Some swanky new blue anodised titanium ProBolt goodies, to match the look of the Suzuka Endurance race bike…

And here…

Out for a play with a Tuono V4

Great day for a ride!!
